The Watsons go to Birmingham: Kenny Scarpbook

Today in the 60' they were many popular things like soul music, Culture, and also fashions. Fashion in the 60' is like fashion right now. Fashion cannot repeated. pants were worn for only the most casual activity. and never worn to school. Fashion in the 60' were not that much money. soul music was a merger of gospel-charged, secular subject matter, and funk rhythms, souch grew out of the fifties rhythms and bluse. Culture in the 60' were like culture how we it is today.

Today we went over to the Collier's Landing, Grandma Sand told me that a couple of year ago Miss Thomas's little boy Jimmy got caught up in some kinda whrilpool there and they didn't find the poor soul body for three days. i'd only listened to half of what grandma had siad, and now me, Joey and byron were standing at a sign with arrows pointed in two directions. the one pointing at the left siad " PUBLIC SWIMMING" and the other one on the rightn siad " WARNING! NO TRESPASING! NO SWIMMING! NO PUBLIC ENTREE!

l know it was Sunday because i could hear joey getting ready for Sunday school. the neighbors came and got her as soon as i got out of bed. i was standing in the doorway doing my morning Socrates when she walked by. joey had on a fluffy white skirt, a regular blouse and the little white gloves grandma sands give her. the people that came and got her ask me why i was going to Sunday school. i told them i forget to get up on time. Everybody in the house knew that was a lied bu no one seem to care. i wondered if something was wrong with me, because it was really easy for me to lie. i had my cereal and went out to the backyard. it was too hot even in the morning. i started going to sleep under the tree and thought i was dreaming when the noise came. it seemed like every animals, birds and bugs in Birmingham stopped making noise for about one second. my dad came to the back doors in pajama pants and a t-shirt. i leaned back against the tree and closed my eyes. a few minutes later, Byron just told me that a guy just came by and said somebody dropped a bomb on joey church. if that was true why did i just stand there looking stupid. as soon as we got to the church, mom and dad were freaking out. they couldn't find joey anywhere, but you could see people coming out of the church all bloody and all you could tell people were buried under the part of the Church that collapsed. i cant take this anymore. first i almost drowns, then we think joey got killed by the bomb. i think i want to go back to flint.
